Spring Point Project is part of a highly committed, motivated, passionate and experienced group of organizations that are working to move from hope to a cure for diabetes. They include:

Diabetes Research and Wellness Foundation The DRWF was founded in 1993, and is committed to finding a cure for diabetes, and, until that milestone is reached, improving the quality of life for diabetes patients.

University of Minnesota, Diabetes Institute of Immunology and Transplantation One of the early adapters of organ transplantation, the DIIT is globally recognized for strength in pancreas transplantation. In 1994, researchers at the facility embarked on a mission to find a cure for diabetes. In 2004, the DIIT joined forces with Spring Point Project.

Hutterian Brethren The Hutterites are communal people who live in small colonies located throughout the Midwestern United States and Canada. They are primarily farmers who raise both crops and livestock. In 2004, the Hutterites of South Dakota’s Riverside Colony volunteered their expertise in raising and caring for the pigs born at the South Dakota Spring Point Project facility.
