A Cure

Business executives and leading scientists joined forces, capitalizing on their complementary expertise to make a cure for diabetes a reality. And from the joint venture, two parallel initiatives emerged: Perfecting a scientific breakthrough and developing high health pigs needed for human clinical trials scheduled to begin in 2009.
